Who'd Have Known | From Dusk To Palms

Like all true fashion aficionados, I’m not one to stray away from a good trend every now and then. Though I like to dictate my personal style choices I have been known to dip my toes in the fad pool here and there. One trend that has always been in the back of my mind both for look and function is the notion of a man clutch/folio. Sure Europeans seamlessly carry out this look during Pitti Uomo and men’s fashion week but whether or not I could pull it off with the same sartorial savvy has always been a puzzling question in my mind.

I finally decided to give the man clutch a go when I saw this awesome Tommy Hilfiger folio come down the runway during his AW15 show at fashion week. Originally seen parading down the football field runway in a beautiful yet still masculine cognac color, once I saw that the accessory was offered in a handsome shade of navy I bid Mr. Hilfiger a Happy 30^th Anniversary and ordered my share of the memorabilia right away.

Don’t get me wrong I still rely on my trusted black leather backpack but this navy folio has proved a practical alternative for when fumbling with too many things in hand at an event becomes a nuisance. Who’d have known I be caught carrying a man clutch? I sure didn’t!
